If it s finally time for a new patio or to redo the old one there are lots of cool options other than just boring concrete. All three of those options work great for outdoor flooring. Installing garage floor coatings or garage tiles helps provide a non slip surface that is easy to clean. No seam means you will get the benefits of water resistant linoleum without the problems of individual tiles.

However porcelain or ceramic tiles are a really nice look for a patio. Porcelain can hold up to harsh environments better than ceramic but both will be really easy to clean and maintain. However linoleum tile does have seams where moisture can seep in and cause warping or separation. The density makes it harder to work with than other wooden materials.

The most durable flooring options for outbuildings are concrete or pressure treated wood. If you want to try something other than vinyl but still want something less expensive than wood try porcelain tiles. Even if you don t have any tile experience you can tile a small room in a weekend and end up with a great looking durable floor. These materials are moisture resistant and hardy in hot or cold weather.
